At Wake Up To Woodstock we’ve been noticing on social media just how creative our community is getting in lockdown. We’ve spotted crocheted rainbows, floral head-dresses, a flurry of ceramic art, Town Hall embroidery, and some beautiful back garden photography.

So, you are invited to take part in the WOODSTOCK CREATIVITY COMPETITION!

Whether you’re a professional or an amateur, an adult or a child, we’d love you to share your lockdown creations.

We have 3 categories. And in each category we’ll award 2 prizes – 1 for adults and 1 for kids. Each winner will receive a £20 voucher to spend in Woodstock once lockdown is over.

BEST ART 🎨 Are you being inspired to paint your family, get abstract, paint the town hall from a picture, draw your garden’s insects, or creating the best rainbows? Any art is eligible, as long as you’ve created it at home.

BEST PHOTOGRAPHY 📷The sun setting behind column, the moon from your window, flowers in the garden, the neighbours clapping for carers..anything goes as long as it’s taken from your home.

BEST CRAFT 🌈 Are you crocheting rainbows, knitting hearts, throwing pots, building twig sculptures, making headdresses? Almost anything goes in the category as long as you’ve crafted it from the comfort of your own home.

HOW TO ENTER

Post a picture of your creation and tell us a little about it , and if it’s made by a child state their age and their first name.

All entries must be posted on the Wake Up To Woodstock Facebook page

The competition closes on Sunday 31st May. We’ll shortlist based on how many likes the entries are getting then our judges (the artistic members of Wake up to Woodstock – gallery owners, artists, and photographers) will choose each of the winners.

Winning creations will be shown here on our website.
