In Woodstock, the mayor Nick Manby-Brown and the Duke of Marlborough led the Remembrance Parade through the town.
Members of the council were joined by guests Deputy Lieutenant Lady Helen Baker, past mayors and serving members of the forces and police force.
They were joined at Woodstock Memorial by Royal British Legion flag bearer Melanie Watkins, representatives from Woodstock Primary School and the Marlborough Church of England Secondary School, Rainbows, Brownies and Scouts.
