During this intensive weekend workshop you will create a unique mirror using a mixture of glass mosaic tesserae and broken China.
On Saturday Jane will guide you through all the skills and techniques required to create your pique assiette mirror, and on Sunday how to grout and finish it to a high standard.
All tools and materials will be provided; however this is the perfect opportunity for you to bring along your broken crockery and turn it into something new and beautiful if you so wish.
Suitable for all levels.
Jane is an experience mosaic artist, printmaker and tutor. With a background in printed textiles and surface design she has a particular interest in the social and wellbeing benefits of art and creativity.
Session date and time: Saturday 12 October 10.00am – 4.30pm and Sunday 13 October 2.30pm – 4pm
Lunch is included on Saturday.
