We are delighted to be hosting a short-term exhibition celebrating the craftsmanship of the renowned jeweller Alan Gard, alongside our own jewellery and beautifully restored boxes, furniture and art featuring, amongst others, Dali and Picasso
We are also thrilled to be showcasing the ‘Imperial State Crown,’ a masterpiece commissioned by the esteemed Jeffrey Archer and brought to life by the talented goldsmith Alan Gard. Inspired by Archer’s novel “Traitors Gate,” this awe-inspiring crown is not just a symbol of regalia but a testament to extraordinary craftsmanship.
Join us at the Woodstock Pop-Up Shop, 14 Market Pl, Woodstock OX20 1TA, from Tuesday 20th February to Sunday 2nd March, 10:00 – 17:30
The ‘Imperial Crown,’ meticulously crafted by hand, pays homage to centuries-old traditions, with no computers or cad designs used in its creation. Alan Gard, a fine jeweller with a legacy spanning seventy years, brings his expertise to this exceptional piece, recreating it in the same way as the original crown crafted centuries ago.
This is an opportunity to witness the fusion of heritage craftsmanship and contemporary design.
