Step into the realm of dragons at Blenheim Palace Adventure Play during the Easter break. In collaboration with the beloved book series ‘How To Train Your Dragon’, by well-known children’s author Cressida Cowell, we’ve scaled up our Adventure Play experience to include all kinds of exciting dragon-themed activities. There’ll be something to suit everyone from the loudest roarers to the quietest creatures…
Your little ones can unleash their inner Viking and set out on our Dragon Spotting Trail to find all of the different varieties of dragon found in the ‘How To Train Your Dragon’ books, from the fierce Triple Header Rage-blast to the friendly Toothless Daydream. They can prove their dynamic dragon whisperer status by answering the questions to discover the secret word and earn a special ‘How To Train Your Dragon’ badge.
Our fabulous Adventure Play team will be running fun dragon-themed games that everyone can take part in, and if your little ones need some down-time why not join one of our dragon storytelling sessions?
Pick up some props, do your best dragon or Viking pose and snap a fresh family selfie with our How To Train Your Dragon selfie frame. Don’t forget to upload to Instagram and tag #BlenheimPalaceAdventurePlay as we’ll be looking to reshare our favourites!
Once you’ve experienced all of our exciting dragon-themed activities within the Adventure Play, don’t forget to leave some time to explore our Walled Garden.
Race around our Marlborough Maze and play hide and seek with your friends and family, wander through our tropical butterfly house and spot a variety of different species, and hop aboard Winston the Minature Train for a winding ride back up towards the Palace.
